Our dear prophet President Hinckley has taught me so much and now as he continues his eternal progression to the next life, i would like to take a moment and recollect the memories and lessons learned by this great prophet. First is his Christ-like love, I will never forget his undying devotion to his sweetheart, Sis. Hinckley. I used to always say, "I hope i marry a Hinckley man" If he has even a faction of the love for me as President Hinckley had for his wife, I would be happy. And i am so overwhelmingly happy that he has been reunited with his beautiful bride.

I guess being the prophet of the Lords true church restored on the earth gives a guy a little bit of confidence but i always wanted to achieve that kind of esteem. He seemed to have an answer to everything, He handled every situation with pose and professionalism. I'm a horrible speaker (and speller if you cant tell!) so naturally the fact that he was 97 and still speaking to millions was absolutly outstanding!

I was thinking about it today and he was the prophet that i learned from from the begining, since i was five so i know that he will always hold a special place in my heart. His kindhearted example will always echo in my memory. I hope someday to meet a man with those qualities. So humble and meek. I recently learned that meek doesnt mean weak and that vulnerability isnt nessisarily bad, its a christlike quality that will bring blessings and make the path to christ a little clearer! I thank God for a Prophet to guide ME through these latter-days!
