Bishop Christensen and his wife are such amazing, loving and giving people. They are perfect for the singles ward! His councilors, the same, so supportive and in tune with the needs of the single adults, and that's a big deal because currently we have about 265 young adults in our ward, 140 of those being in the Relief Society! SUCH a great ward!
I'm so excited to be serving as the Relief Society President! I love serving and getting to know the girls. As I first received the call, I was a little scared, its a lot of responsibility and i felt inexperienced and unable to fill such big shoes, but the calling has been such a blessing, I love the girls, every one of them, SO much, its such an indescribable feeling. I love celebrating their successes, and helping them find the light at the end of their own tunnels of darkness, we all have such different and difficult personal trials but Relief Society unites us and the love from all those amazing woman can move mountains, which is good because sometimes it seems that that's what the Lord asks of us. I've really learned some hard lessons but I know that its all for experience that I'm seriously lacking, I want to be shaped into what the Lord needs, so it'll all be worth it, Its all about "enduring it well" an compensation will come in time! I love this gospel!!

"Trust in the Lord, do your best, and leave the rest to Him . . ."

I've also met some of my best friends in this ward! We call ourselves . . THE FANTASTIC FOUR!!! . I know, we're not too original, but hey it works!! Jason Connolly, Jason Kishpaugh, Sean MacIver, and Myself . . . unfortunately, our awesome quartet has abruptly ended . . . . two of the four of us are GETTIN HITCHED!!! I'm joking when i say unfortunately, Jason and Sean are two really amazing guys and they got equally amazing gals to complete them!! I'm SO excited for them! Its going to be a crazy month of November so there is sure to be more posts on that. The fantastic four will live on in infamy i suppose. And i get two new girl friends out o this whole deal! I'm lucky too i guess :)
