I think April fools is my favorite holiday! Its the only day of the year that you can do just about anything to make just about anyone laugh. Its also the only day of the year you can pull pranks that are just a little over the edge and not get in trouble for it! haha!
So this year I did just that
Victim: My Roommate, Kathrine
I decided that i should get to know my neighbors, now the neighbors right below us are very un friendly so I made the conscious decision not to disrupt them in any way but the family next to them remind me of a trailer park family, they are always on their porch either smoking of drinking or having their weekly BBQ night with the kids a cross the street working on motorcycles. Attire is always the same, mom in cut off jean shorts and a over sized T-shirt. The Dad in a Budweiser wife-beater and basketball shorts, both bare foot and all the kids in similar attire (depending on their gender), Nothing wrong with that, just very predictable. As i approach them, they get a panicked look followed by a reserved casual expression to hide their awkward feelings towards my friendliness. "hey so Happy fools day huh?' . . . . What was I thinking? What kinda conversation is that!?? Haha we all laughed a little and I walked away, already thinking, trying to find a way to recover from that nasty first impression. I pull out my roomies keys and jump in her car to move it so that it was perpendicular to Anna's car, taking up two spaces, I then moved my car in the space behind the two that were now occupied. Both cars were so close to Kathrine's that it was almost impossible for anyone to get in or out of mine or Anna's car. I sucked in my gut and squeezed outta my car and grabbed both sets of keys, by this time Both the mom and the dad from down stairs had thrown down their cigarettes and where staring in bewilderment at my actions, I was ready to redeem myself " hey April fools day only comes once a year" they both laughed a little harder than I had expected ( or was comfortable with) and agreed not to call the cops so that my Little illegal prank could be carried out.

Kathrine came down stairs and was completely confused for about thirty seconds, then it all came together, but those thirty seconds rocked! The neighbors were way cool about it and I felt like a celebrity for about three minutes. April fools is the best, I'm already planning for next year, I'm gunna have hire a committee er something with a project this big and I might need to take out a loan but like a said, there is only one April 1st in a year! :0))))
