San Fran with my Main Man!!!

Ok you have tpo bare with me this post is about a month er two late but I had to post it!! It was such a blast !

This last week, I got to go to San Fransisco with Chad! It was such a blast! On Wednesday after work, we began our twelve hour drive (yes, we drove) to Fermont where we stayed with the Doyings (chads sister-in-laws parents) who were so kind to let us stay there and be apart of thier forth of July activities!! The drive was . . . brutal. 12 hours is a long time and to be honest I'm glad that Chad didn't tell me how long it would take til the day before because i just might have backed out!! To add to the time driving, we got to sit in stop and go traffic for about an hour and a half because of a brush fire. I would like to publicly thank the arsonist for one adding time to an already long trip and destroying what was considered to be the scenery, so hats off to you! haha!

Honestly though it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, I loved being with Chad so it was fun. The next day (Thursday) we head off with Ryan and Kim to Pier 39. Very cool place, lots of shopping and tourist stuff. The weather was absolutly perfect the whole time. It was a little windy but it felt so nice! After the pier we head off to the famous Golden Gate and took a million pictures, all of them in which, my hair was flying in my face.

We had such a blast all Day, when also went down to a BEAUtiful town called Sausilito! It was amazing, just very rich and authentic, everything there was beautiful. There is just so much to doin San Fransico!Hardly enough time to do it all! We took off around ten that morning and headed into the city. We went to the Japanese Tea Gardens, it was really . . . randomly beautiful. Middle of this big city a huge chunk of japanese history . . weird, but awesome!! It was beautiful! Lots of cool arcitechual things!

As much as i would like to say I took a picture of Chad while he was walking across the stepping stones, that would be a lie, Chad asked me to take a ticture of him POSED as IF he were walking across the stones. He's 5 sometimes.

Then this would be the Fourth of July! We had a very nice party at the Doyings house, we went swimming and enjoyed the amazing weather and had some awesome food!

Oh! But how could I forget! The morning of the fourth! Chad and I decided to sneak out on our own and have a little adventure in the City! We drove to San Fran in the morning and decided just to get out and walk and see what we ran into. We went to a place called Haight and Ashbury. I guess its a famous strip there, kinda like our Mill Ave only twenty trillion times better! We had such a good time just looking at stuff and shopping around, we stopped to have bed and breakfast at the awesome Bed-n-Breakfast place called the Red Victorian! I guess thats kinda famous too! it was Amazing!

This was our amazing breakfast! Fresh, Ham, Eggs, Bacon and Potatos all wrapped up in a Crepe!! So SO delicious!

I tried to explain to Chad that the Goodwill in Californis was just the same os the one in Arizona but he was convinced that the crap in cali is better then the crap we don't buy at home!

In exchange for me letting him go to Goodwill, he let me hit every antique shop on the strip! Sweet Jacket right! Name the price?!!! . . . . . . . $427.00, ouch!

Everyother shop was some sort of India trade market with tons of native clothing and jewelery! I wanted to buy a budda so bad but i was sure if my ethical reasoning was right behind it so i passed it up.

Our entire trip was so so much fun!! It was over way too soon, but I'm so excited for us to go back some time! We did so much but we missed alot too so we'll be going back very soon i'm sure! Thanks again so much to the Doying for allowing us to stay and showing us such a good time! Love you all!
