Chad and I are LOVING it up here! I was completely convinced that i would hate it here. snow, cold, school, no family, no sun, no money. All of those things sounded very unattractive and horrible to me, but we knew we needed to be up here and going to school so we went up and I'm SO glad we did! turns out i love the snow! Its so beautiful, granted its only been a week but i think its amazing and graceful! When its falling, when it lands, and the ice is even amazing to me ( I'm told that once I slip on some, I wont feel the same love for it). And as for the cold . . . its not that cold! Its snowing, sure, but its not that cold! The other day I walked from the club house to our apartment with a t-shirt and gym shorts and did just fine! And when it is a little too cold for comfort, a scarf and jacket is all you need. Oh and a shout out goes to the ghetto Walmart here for providing 5 dollar leggings that I where under everything now! thank you. SCHOOL IS AMAZING! I've never been so excited about homework, I cant wait to get to my laptop and write essays on Korihor and his philosophies, or make power points on sacred hymn collections and criticisms. k it sounds dorky and yeah, maybe it is but I'm so focused and excited to graduate! Chad is too! His math class is a little hard ( bum teacher) and i think hes just a little less zealous about school than I, which is understandable since he's gone to 4 more years of it than me. Bless his heart. The whole family thing totally stinks, i miss my sisters like crazy and my mom and dad! but its nice to have Preston and Sam up here to show us the ropes while we continue to try and convince them that they are in love. So cute btw. And the no money parts kinda lousy too! Still no finacial aid, still no deposits back and still no food in the fridge but i guess that's why they call it livin on love! All in all though, i KNOW we made the right choice, in a few years we'll have it all a little more together and school was definitely a good place to start :)
