PROCLAMATION TO THE WORLD!

There is something really comforting about haveing a plan, and for the first time in a while, I've got one. Chad and I moved up to Idaho with very little direction. We knew that we were supposed to be in school and the BYU-I was where the Lord wanted us but other than that, it was a pretty blank canvas. I was going into Music . . . somewhere into music? and Chad was going to finish one of the 2 or three degrees that he salvaged from his multiple years at BYU,UCLA, MCC, and the dreaded UofP. (I know a lot of letters, very few credits) I selected my classes according to interest, I knew I had skills in teaching and Volleyball, so I took a volleyball coaching class, I took yet another music class in an attempt to make me love it and find the inspiration to teach it some day, and I knew that I had a love for family so I figured FAMILY100 was a good place to start. Those classes of interst plus a few core classes and my schedule was set. I prayed for guidance in selecting a major and used all the resources around me to see what I would be good at and narrow down my options for a major. It only took a week of class for me to realize the amazing love and desire to learn more about the family structure and marriage developement methods. The more i read, the more interested I became! It was the only homework Ive not only enjoyed but worked ahead on, I cant wait to study the proclamation and the text for the class. Not to mention, Ive been inspired and motivated my my professor, Bro. Williams. He enjoys what he does and it shows through his teaching. I love the spirit that I feel in that class and Ive since looked seriously into becomeing a family and marriage psychotherapist. as apart of my class we have been asked to present a creative project that will explain indepth the consepts and principles of 10 of the chapters. Ive chosen to use my blog as a way of presentation and hope my followeres will continue to follow my for the next 5 weeks and just trust me on this. Yes, there will be less post about my bad hair days and chads weird quirks that i discover randomly throughout the week but I promise you'll walk away from this blog with a new appreciation for your family and excitment to be better! And whats better than that! Self-Motivation is the best part of all this! We can all be better, lets start NOW!!!
