Mom and Madi are HERE!!
Such a fun week! We were so glad to have them up here in Rexburg to see all the fun we're having and celebrate moms birthday. it was a very eventful week! We picked them up on Sunday and did a nice family dinner after which, being stuffed, we hit the hay early to prepare for the next day! NowI cant remember the exact days that we did everything (thus, I blog for my crappy memory) but i do remember that on one of the days we all met at the school and we all got to each good old fashioned cafeteria food. That was when Madi spilled her drink all over the table and Mom and I got harassed by a less than pleasant lunch lady. It was so special for Gail and Madi to be able to go with Sam and Preston to their Ultrasound to see the sex of their cute little baby BOY! yes a BOY! It was so exciting! We had family night and skyped with Ryan Kim and Sam.SO fun! Oh and did I mention homemade PIZZA! So fun! We also were able to continue our new found tradition of killing each other over spoons. For the record, i will die earlier from the stress induced coma I fall into every time we play!
Mamas birthday was THE BEST! We started the day buy going to Broulims to embarrass Preston and take pictures of him in his uniform at work.then we picked up bread, jam , alvacados, and went home and made a lunch for champions... Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and chips and guac. We took picture outside the BYU-I sign...because pictures=mom! We headed into Idaho falls and hit some shops! We went to an a few great store for Sam and the baby! It was so fun, then we hit up the great harvest for some free bread! it was delish! We went to Snake Bite for dinner and had a wonderful time! the food was great and the company even better!
Mom loved her presents! Chad and I finally got around to giving her a framed wedding picture and Sam made a great video collage of photos of the Merrells! It was beautiful and Mom just ate it up! We had such a wonderful weekend!
