Christmas was the BEST!

ok, it wasnt 'the best', in fact it wasnt even AAMAZING. but the word that does describe it is 'sweet'. It was a very sweet christmas, the same kind of sweet that a little old lady has, or a kitten swatting at a ball of yarn.. that kind of sweet. Just mild and very low key, but pretty awesome. We were tiptoeing around the conversation about what to do Christmas morning because we had this little creeping feeling that it would totally suck so when it came, thats exactly what we expected... so thats exactly what happened, it sucked but then we went to church and had such a wonderful three hours, I got to explain the nativity to sweet kaden in Nursery (all the other kiddos got to go home for Christmas so it was a two teacher to one toddler ratio) Sacrament meeting was beautiful and the spirit reminded Chad and I just how amazing Christmas was, away from home or not. We came home and played with gifts and put on a christmas movie! Then Chad started in the construction of our awesome fort! It literally covered the entire front half of our apartment and we moved the mattress to the front room for ultimate comfort and luxury. Chad did a great job and while he was building the fort I was making my first attempt at home made chicken noodle soup with hame made egg noodles and all... three hours later... Best. Soup. EVER. with alot of help from my hubby, the noodle were a total success, and i also aced my scalloped potato crock pot recipe! It was so good!

As soon as Cjristmas was over it was back to work work work. we did so many check outs, empty checks, maintenance calls, painting ect. So crazy! We almost forgot about new years when it hit! Thank heavens for our awesome friends JUSTIN AND KELSEY and the Pyles as well! We all had such a blast, we played games, ate pizza and Bro. Pyles made some AMAZING home made chocolate milk! Absolutely addictive!

So much fun and just in time for School to start again! <3 <3 <3
