Chads 27th Birthday!

it official...I....am....THE MASTER of SURPRISE!

This month has been crazy! I really wanted to do something special for chad this year, its one of the first years that i have had money to get him an actual gift that didn't involve a printed off coupon on cheap printer paper for a back massage or something tacky and homemade with macaroni noodle and yarn. STORE BOUGHT (amazon store to be specific). Needless to say, i wanted to go all out.

Side note: Chad has this egocentric tendency to flaunt how unbelievably UNsurprisable he is... i don't know why he gets so much pleasure from this but thats far from the top of the list of things i don't understand about my husband.

Anyways, i decided I would surprise him in every way possible! I knew this would be hard but i took some pretty extreme measure to keep everything hidden from my hubbers. I ordered all his gifts from a new account with amazon so he wouldn't be able to find it (don't you think for a second that he didn't try!) I picked each package up from the UPS office across town, which in Rexburg means 7 minutes away. He had NO way of knowing any of his gifts. It just about killed him... it was awesome.

But the best part is, a week before his birthday i invited everyone we know and love in Rexburg to a surprise party for him on the Saturday before his birthday. He was clueless. He had been inviting friends to go to a movie on Saturday night ( all of which I called a week in advance and told them to accept his invitation then a day before or the day of, come up with an excuse and back out) on top of those few couples he invited to the movies, there is an addition 12 to 15 people that he hadn't seen in a while that were there to surprise him.
