Temple Time

Saturdays are beautiful, especially when we don't have to work and we get to go to the Temple instead. Chad and I decided to go do initiatories in the morning then have a little lunch date for our Saturday off!Best day ever! Last week I was called as the ward Temple prep teacher,I'm so excited and nervous! I LOVE teaching and I love the singles so much, but I feel so unqualified. I've only been attending the temple 3 years and being in charge of explaining the basics is a little intimidating. I LOVED my temple prep experience! I was taught temple prep by our singles ward Secretaries wife, Sis. Agle and she was wonderful, she made us feel so comfortable to ask questions and explained everything so clearly! I hope I can take those things i loved from her teaching and hopefully, help others get excited and feel prepared for this wonderful experience.
Going to the temple the day before my first lesson was just what I needed, I'm so nervous about the lesson but being in the temple reminds me of the testimony i have of its truths and purposes.
I think we came to this beautiful Rexburg temple on its busiest weekend! We got turned away (kindly of course) from doing a session and there was an 1 1/2 wait for inititories  that turned into a two hour wait since 6 girls came in for their own endowments and 17 weddings were scheduled for the day! The Lords work is moving right along! I sat on the bench with 4 great girls and we got to know each other as we waited patiently for our turn to serve. It was a beautiful day, so much spirit and joy in the temple, I can't think of a single reason why someone wouldn't desire that feeling and experience.
I want to share it with everyone I can and that desire alone helps me to know that this calling is possible (as intimidating as it seems now).
Thinking about temple work today I reflected on the great opportunity the saints in Queen Creek and Gilbert Arizona have as they witness the building of the beautiful Gilbert Temple. It will seal thousands of families, and build the Kingdom of God in a very major way.
I wish I could drive by it every day to see its progress but there are plenty of saints doing that for me.
I Love this picture, Arizona's weather is my favorite, even when it dry and dusty, its beautiful.
The field is white and ready to harvest saints! Lets get to work!
The Mesa Temple will always hold a special place in my heart and will always be my favorite place! Its where my family started, where i learned about the covenants that would shape my life and family. Its Beautiful and eternal. I pray that I will always live to be worthy of entering those doors and worshiping my Savior!
