Week 33: Heads Up Seven Up

       Week 33, less than 2 months before the baby's here! That's 33 down and 7 up! And heads up people, the babys head is down! He's getting ready for his debut. We met with a new doctor today, Dr.Codd and we LOVE him. He was so wonderful with us, so patient, answering every one of my new mom questions about epidurals, c-sections, and giving me information I didn't even know I wanted. I measured my tummy and as he felt around, he confirmed that the babys head was down and the pain I've been feeling in my right rib cage is in fact kicks (not punches), because he's got his feet up in prep for his birthday.
    I finished his crib this week. I sewed the crib skirt double layered his mattress and applied the bumpers, Now I just need to get some cute pillows and it will be finished. I hope to finish up his curtains this weekend but we will see, all of my sewing projects take about 3 times as long as I originally estimate so it might be a "Week 34" project. I think a sewing class is in my near future. I'm so excited for the rest of the nursery stuff to get here on Thanksgiving... oh and my family too, that's equally exciting :) Chad and I are going to Idaho Falls today to check out some changing tables ( and by changing table I mean dresser). We haven't really seen eye to eye on this one so its bound to be an interesting day. We're looking for something with at least three drawers and lots of counter space for the changing pad and whatever else I want to put on it. I've looked into a few boutiques that see refurbished stuff for cheap and I think there are a few winners out there so I'm excited! Look for next weeks post for a preview of the little guys room!

Week:33

 Total Weight Gain: 23 pounds up from my pre-pregnancy weight

Stretch Marks: yeah they're still there...yay.

Best Moment This Week: Finishing all my sewing projects! Yay, I don't have to look at my sewing machine at all in the month of December! its a Christmas miracle.

Missing: My stomach muscles, i can see them stretching apart and being used differently to get me off the couch or to pick something up.

Movement: I think he's getting a little cramped in there because he's moving a little less and when he does move, it feels like he's flipping over or something. Symptoms: Stretching and soreness around my ribs and some hilarious fatigue...literally falling asleep mid conversation.

Food Cravings: Still craving Soda, or something other than water, that's all a drink now-a-days..and i miss the bubbles Causing Nausea: Nothing really.

Labor Signs: none

Belly Button: tight! My entire belly is super tight.

Wedding ring:  Off

Moods:Great! I'm feeling awesome, exercising and trying to not freak out about labor.

Next Doctor's Appointment: Next Thursday, they're every 2 weeks now! December 5th

Looking Forward to:THANKSGIVING! Can't wait to have family up here and have my shower all over again when they bring up my stuff!

Baby Facts: He's keeping his eyes open while awake. He's also starting to coordinate breathing with sucking and swallowing. His bones are hardening. And he going through (more) major brain development -- that's one smart baby!

   He's as big as a Durian...whatever that means !
