Week 35: "Yeah, Don't do that"

Another Doctors appointment this week. Our car battery decided to have a little break down just minutes before my appointment so I had to miss out on meeting Dr. Lovell but I rescheduled for the next day and met with Dr. Meredith. We met with him and everything is going great! Babies heart beat is 140 and sounded strong, lots of movement even just in the appointment and Dr. Meredith was happy with my measurements and weight. He asked if I had had any back pains and I explained that Wednesday was really bad...but Tuesday I had shoveled snow and ice for 4 hours so that might have had something to do with it.... "Kayla.....yeah, don't do that ok!?" It was so funny, he was very confused as to why a 7 1/2 months pregnant woman would even want to shovel snow.
Chad's in charge of making sure I don't so that again. I think I'm getting to the point where lifting heavy things, shoveling snow and activities of that sort are out of the question. Which is no good since its going to snow a few more times this week!
Lots of fun this last week though, we got our tree, went on a special date, played in the snow, and got our house Christmas ready. We have so much still to do but the big stuff is out of the way so we get to enjoy the rest of the season toegther.
This next week we hit the 30 day mark...he's almost here! I can hardly wait!

Week:35

Total Weight Gain: 31 pounds up from my pre-pregnancy weight.

Stretch Marks: My stinkin belly button wont "pop" so I'm getting stretch marks just above my belly button now..yay.

Best Moment This Week: Going on a sleigh ride with Chad. I love that man.

Missing: cleaning! sounds crazy but i want to be able to hand wash my floors and deep clean my oven but my belly gets in the way.

Movement: At mornings and nights he moves the most. also he hates when I lay on my back now!
Symptoms: Heartburn, back pains and discomfort...oddly it all excites me!

Food Cravings: Frozen Lemonade. I'm getting into the ice chip stage

Causing Nausea: nothing in particular but if it's gross, I'm pretty sensitive!

Labor Signs: none

Belly Button: Very tight and stubborn

Wedding ring:  Off

Moods: A little stressed, with the holidays I'm running outta time to get stuff done! Luckily life goes on past labor (sometimes i forget that)

Next Doctor's Appointment: The 20th of December

Looking Forward to: Going on the tour of the hospital! I think we'll do that next weekend!

Baby Facts: His hearing is fully developed, and he responds best to high-pitched noises If it's a boy, his testes have probably fully descended.
