BRILLIANT PARENTING IDEA!

I just love this! I think its such a good idea and it not only benifits the child but the whole family. It would take alot of disipline on both parts but wow, what a great way to teach investment. SO many kids, I think, dont understand how to live within thier means, so many loans are taken out just to 'live comforitably" the only issue is that, to some people believe that living comfortably means getting what you wanteven if its with money that you'll have to pay back later. I think the term "living comfortably" is a misunderstood term, and people have strayed from the knowlegde of what thier budget really is. I think this method of teaching and applying a budget within the whole family (not just the parents) Is entirely beneficial and a great way to get your kids involved in the family finances. I think they would have more appreciation for they bread winners, and the money that they are given, as well as a better understanding of spending. What I loved in this clip was when the father talked about teaching the kids how to spend the money that they HAVE, not the money they were loaned or given, but the money they INVESTED for themselves and how to live within thier means!! If anyone reading knows where I can get those envelopes and finacial recording sheets I would love to start this right away!! thanks readers! :)
