2 Week Notice

Just a short two months after I get the Job as a part time employee at JJs i put in my Two week notice today! VERY bitter-sweet. Sweet, because school, with callings, with anotherfulltime job is just a little too much to tack on a stressful work enviroment at JJs where i ws getting paid less than minimum wage, had poor managment and worked WAY too hard. Bitter because i finally made some friends that I really enjoy being around! my favorite shifts where my 6 hour night shifts, the ones that should have been my least favorite became a total party becasue of who I worked with! I Love Amanda! She completley brought me into the group and made the work enviroment at JJs just a little less hostile.

Anywho, Im excited to be able to focus more on working at the Cambridge Court office. Chad and I are starting to get good at it! we are starting to really enjoy everyone to, we are getting to know people and our tenants LIKE US! its crazy! we thought for sure that since we were managment we would be hated and that we'd just have to learn to deal with that but we talk with everyone and try to help with any issue we can and people respond to that!! We are loving it! now unfortunatly, this job means that we wont be going anywhere in December because of the fact that its the busiest move-in move-out month so Chad and i are now preparing ourselves for our first Christmas alone at home :(( im really mixed about all this. i can remember last christams waking up in California with family and still crying when i talked with my family on the phone. I just hated knowing that I wouldnt see the look on my sisters faces as they opened the doll house that Danica and I had made for them or breea getting the long board that she had been begging for all year, or my parents in the kitchen making us ebelskebbers for breakfast and going to a movie with extended family all our little quirky traditions, i miss it so much, and i know i know, "we have to make our own traditions" but seriously, what are we gunna do! That wasnt retorical ...what should we do??? and suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Super excited however to go back to see family in November for Thanksgiving! I think we even get to see Grandma and Grandpa Hatchs new house! Way excited!

But you know what im most excited about??? mama Merrell and mad-dog coming up to visit in a few weeks!!! So excited to have guests come and hang with us, not to mention, we get to celebrate Gails birthdays and do somehting awesome! What that awesome thing that we're doing is, im not sure of yet, but we are brainstorming :) Cant Wait!
