Bro Hymas, this ones for you! every week leading up to the party he asked if we would do a caramel apple station and 700 caramels, two crock pots, 3 hours and 50 apples later, we did it! SUCH a hit! good call Bro. Hymas, Good call.
Our Crazy weekend!
Friday:
-school all morning
-major projects due in three classes
-Attend mandatory two hour Concert (bored outta my brains)
-Study Study Study for final exam
-find someone to cover tomorrows shift
(5 hour closing shift on a Saturday night, not easy to fill)
Saturday
-Guitar lessons in the morning
-Straight to the testing center to take not one but two midterms(btw ACED THEM!)
-Home to make 3 batches of dough
-unwrap approx. 700 caramels to put in crock pot for cramel apple station
-Meet with presidency to wrap 105 hot dogs in dough (mummy dogs, super cute)
-Fill balloons with helium, coordinate decorations, pick up surprise baskets, send husband on about a trillion other errands that I couldn't get to such as dry ice, food coloring and constant trips from the church to the house to get the things I forgot
-party! or at least supervise the party for the next three hours
-take pictures of EVERYONE and EVERY activity.
-Clean up with my awesome presidency
-home by 10:30 to prepare my talk and lesson for tomorrow
Sunday
-Wake up and fall asleep again 4 times over (curse you snooze, curse you)
-Finish talk and lesson
-Ward counsel before church
-library to make copies and prepare for Nursery
-Teach nursery and play with kids for 2 hours (running on very little sleep mind you)
-Sacrament meeting both counselors gave great talks and now i got to conduct the choir in a primary song for our primary program.
-15 minute talk to take the remanding time of the meeting
- Home to finish homework from Thursday and Friday and prepare for a quiz in three classes the next day.
-Break down in tears about how I'm incompetent and unable to keep up with all my responsibilities
-husband makes everything better and helps me find a solution.
-make out
-Praise my husband for helping me so much in all my craziness
Man I'm a lucky gal. AMAZING Presidency that supports me so greatly and helps the impossible happen! Great friends that cover my behind and step in when I am slacking and an absolutely perfect-for-me husband that always knows what to say and do to remind me that its all so trivial compared to why we are really here. He's my hero! kayla-1 weekend-0!!!

I'll have to mention the shout-out to Tate...it comes as no surprise to me that he would suggest such a thing!
ReplyDeleteGirl...I'm hoping you (and the rest of the presidency for that matter) got some serious R&R after the weekend, cause you deserve it!
