Just a little bragging....

We have been eating healthy and exercising every day for the past two weeks and I have lost 10 pounds! Chad has lost 9!

Here is what has changed...
-my appetite has gone down tremendously
-my need for caffeine is GONE, also, when I have a sweet tooth, I crave rasberries, pears and mangos instead of dove chocolate bars.
- I get sick when I've eaten too much.. that never used to happen, I actually like the bodily response!
- I drink so much water! I used to have a DP a day and no water but now its 7 er 8 a day without even thinking about it!
- I fit into my old jeans! That made my day :)
The BEST part about this week is that...
- I lost 10 pounds and I still ate Texas sheet cake, ice cream, onion rings, Costa Vida and fishy crackers... but in smaller portions or with substitute ingredients, not missing out on anything andstill losing weight!

The cool part about all of this is that its habitual, you can do it, two weeks solid and it get easier to stick to it! It takes you actually making a goal and be proud of it, there is no shame in losing weight, only in keeping it because you are afraid it won't come off, or will take too long. make alist of things you want to overcome, for example, mine this week is to stop doing the "easier" versions of some exercises and push my self to do more reps than I have in the past. If its with food, set a goal to drink a tall glass of water before each meal and to listen to your belly when your full. Set a goal, with a deadline and don't stop til you get there, then reassess and do it again!

Tomorrow I'll post more products! Had a stir-fry tonight that's to DIE for! Read tomorrows post for tricks on super circuits and saving money on produce!

  1. Can not believe it's been two years. Congrates! What a great trip! We love SF. Keith lived in that area for a few years so he has a lot of friends there. By the way, you love GREAT! I've been on the weight losing journey myself. It's no picnic, but it feels good to feel better in my own skin. Enjoy your summer.
