Gettin my Craft on!

First baby sewing project...COMPLETE!

I've been wanting to try out this super simple looking nursing cover tutorial for about a month now and last night i got a burst of motivation and did it!

Here's a link to the actual tutorial I used, however, I strayed from it...the majority of the time. I used a overall clip instead of the adjustable one in the tutorial (because I think it's cuter) and I used a smaller piece of fabric (because I'm bad at math). But I still love the way it turned out! I didn't even cry! (sadly, that's an accomplishment for me when I'm doing anything with my sewing machine) definitely had a few trial and error moments and used my ripper more times than I'm willing to admit, but ....alas, it is finished!

What I learned:
-I need to take a sewing class and get better aquainted with my machine (we're not on good terms the majority of the time).
-Sewing a tighter pattern is sometimes better than going backwards to secure an end.
-I can't say the word boning around Chad, even though he knows I'm talking about the craft supply...dork
-Next time will I will take half as long because of this run through. I learned that I need to be more willing to fail, it's not that bad and it's a good way to learn sometimes.
