Week 25: High five dad!

Dad felt Liam this week. Each morning for the past three weeks or so, Chads woken me up by talking to my belly, asking Liam to kick him or punch him. Chads been so anxious to feel him and to be honest, I've been waiting a while for it too! It's still so cool whenever I feel a flutter or a strong movement but I want Chad to feel that and know what I'm talking about. Well, this week Liam got over his stage fright and gave dad a big high five in the morning! as soon as he felt it we both looked at each other instantly and with his eyes as big a tea cup saucers said, "Was that him!?" I laughed, yes it was him, my stomach doesn't normally do that! Ever since then, as soon as I tell Chad that Liams being pretty active he rushes over a patiently waits for the next high five from his son...I adore it.
Liam's a stinker though. He kicks me all day long and when he isn't kicking me he's moving around causing problems. This week I was just tired, tired from being beat up on all day and my ribs and hips stretching. I know this isn't how it works but sometimes I think he's doing pullups on my ribs or stretching his whole body out from the top of my right rib cage to the bottom of my left hip bone! Movement is a good things and I'm grateful I'm feeling something, I just wish it didn't wear me out! :) I love when I feel movement in response to an action or noise, and I know it's only going to get better.
