I took my nasty glucose test drink and they drew my blood...all is well! The babys heart rate was at 140 and he's healthy and (I'd like to think) happy! I have to give Dr. Evans props, he was great and I'll miss the ladies at the front desk but Seasons is going to be a better fit, I just know it!
We walked in there on Thursday morning and thought we were in a reception hall. It was a little fancier than what we are used to. The womans clinic was upstairs so as soon as the elevator doors were opened Chad and I felt like little kids at Christmas! Everything was so warm and homey! There was a roaring fire place, what felt like a thousand different couches and loveseats, a small area for kids and, get this, a fish tank.
You should have seen Chads face.
And I quote: "Kayla, did you see the fire place?! And they have a fish tank. This is the best doctors office ever, now we HAVE to switch!"
While Chad was content with the aesthetics of the room, I was anxious to meet the staff. The ladies at the front desk were so cheery and very informative. They explained the different services that they offer and got me in to meet with a doctor that very next Wednesday! That's about ...7 appointments ahead of Madison! As we talked with one lady, I watched others come and check in and get called back to see the doctor with almost no wait at all, another reassuring change, they must have their schedule well distributed. I expressed concern about switching over all the billing information and they assured me it would be painless and that they have an entire office dedicated to billing. THIS was huge for me since I didn't get helped with billing for literally months at my last place. I'm so excited to meet with Dr. Meredith, I've heard such good things and I know Chad will have fun with the fish in he lobby ;)
