1st off: My appointment with my new doctor went perfectly! I came with a list of questions and he asked ME them, all before I could even think to ask them. He was so helpful and assured me that I'm preparing well for the delivery. He always put a lot of my "high risk" worries at ease. He told me that I have had a healthy preganancy so far and that he'll let me know of anything at all concerns him, but if not, I should focus on preparing for delivery, start resting a little more and he gave me numbers and listing for local lactation consultants, pediatricians and birthing classes. Dr. Meredith...i love you.
Secondly: We went to AZ! It was quite the eventful, busy weekend (as most of our visits home are). We got there Thursday night in time to stop by Madis yogurt shop and say hi, stop by the stake center and say high to my dad, bishop C and President Holmes. and go to bed! We woke up the next morning and got ready for Gails reception. It was a crazy busy day! I had some fun visitors that wouldn't be able to make it to my shower the next day, Sis. Weigel, Mallory and Sis. Bulechek. Such a great surprise to see them! My mom and sisters took me out to my favorite restaurant for lunch, Oreganos and we had a great time! (I just love our girl time). When I got home it was crunch time, getting everything ready for the big night. Suzie, Mari and Shannon did an amazing job and the back yard looked beautiful!
The next day we woke up early to go watch Madi scrimmage. It was a little warmer than what I'm used to but Madi did an amazing job! I just love watching her play!
When we got home, The boys left for a Coyotes game and the girls got ready for the shower. The back yard had been transformed from a beautiful reception to an nautical paradise in less than 12 hours, it was amazing! My sisters and my mom are professionals i swear. Everything was so adorable and I was so amazed with the time and effort they put into everything! It was an incredible turn out. SO many people came, even those i forgot to invite somehow got the memo (thank heavens) and I felt so incredibly loved! I am so grateful for good friends and family to surround myself with and only hope they can regard me as highly as I do them! Amazing people!
The food was perfect, the company was even better and the presents were never ending! I was so overwhelmed with gratitude I had to remind myself that I couldn't sit a chat with every person after opening thier gift or we'd be there all night long. I thought I loved this boy but turns out, I'm not alone, so many wonderful wishes for our new little family and I'm so filled with gratitude! Thank you everyone who came and supported me and my little guy this weekend!
HUGE thanks to my parents who host every event imaginable in their backyard/house without thinking twice about it. They are both so gracious and willing to go above and beyond all the time. Dad took my family to a Coyotes game in a box sweet while I had my shower and it was so great, everyone enjoyed it and it was a great break from working on the reception and shower for the boys. My mom really helped out with the decorating and food for the shower and everything was flawless!
Massive Thanks to my sister! Danica! You. Are. AMAZING! I can't even believe the magical nautical dream you created in our backyard! It was so perfect! and now I have so much to decorate my little nursery with. The food was fantastic, the decorations were perfect and those outfits, bow ties and shoes you gave me are incredible! Thank you for giving me the shower of my dreams and giving my baby swagger.
Breeba! Thank you for being my photographer all weekend long and capturing all these amazing moments! It's priceless and you did such a great job! PS your present was amazing as you talked it up to be.
Thanks to all my amazing family and friends for coming. Its such a bitter sweet experience coming to visit AZ. the trips are never long enough it it's like I always get enough AZ to miss it more by the time I leave but It was so amazing being able to see so many faces I haven't seen in years at my shower. I felt so loved and supported and grateful for my dear friends and family God has blessed me with. Queen Creek really is a special place and it's because of the people.
Breea's lovely
As far as a LIam update, it's all about the same! Liams growing and kicking away. He really likes the right side of my body for some reason. I'm stretching a lot and it isn't entirely painless but its so awesome!
Chad says my belly button looks "freaky"...not sure what that means but it's definitely changed from before since my stomache has tightened up.
Can't wait to meet Liam and I can't believe I only have 11 weeks left!
Wish I had pictures like these from my showers - You will be able to remember this forever with these words and pics. Keep on blogging!
