ANother Letter to Liam

Dear Liam,

Oh my son, I'm so anxious to meet you! You're 2 months away and I can hardly wait! Dad's anxious too, each day he says the same thing, "It's getting closer!" And he's right! We wish you could be here for Christmas but I keep imagining you celebrating that blessed day with our Heavenly Father and Jesus. I don't know if that's how it works but that's what I'm going to continue to believe.
It's getting colder here and I wonder if you'll like the snow? I promise to keep you bundled up, I have all the means to do that now after your showers! Liam, you are so loved. I couldn't believe the gifts, kind words and love we recieved that day. You be sure to smile at Grandmas, Aunt Dani and Aunt Sam first, they worked so hard on those showers and it was beautiful.
I'm working on you room a lot this week. Nothing can be clean or organized enough for you by my standards. Dad's patient with me and lets me order him around saying "hang that there...now hang that there, no lets try it over here." I think you'll love it.
Now about this "due date". I know you're supposed to come on the 12th but I've been told, that's more of a flexible guess. So you feel free to come early if you'd like. Dad was hoping you'd come in December for a nice little tax break but even 2 or 3 days early would be lovely. I understand if you come late though. I want you baked to perfection so whenever you're ready, we are too!
You're a goof ya know that? You only like the right side of my body. I'm constantly catching my breath and leaning to the left to balance out my large body. You're always hanging out in my right rib cage, just kicking and pushing away. I'd be lying if I told you it tickled but I've learned to love it. Every kick, every flutter and flip I feel makes me think you're happy, which is exactly what I pray for. A happy baby!
We're already planning your blessing day! You'll be blessed in the beautiful state of Arizona with friends and family all around you! We really want to take you through the Gilbert Temple open house at the beginning of March, so hopefully that works out but we'll see...it all depends on you (no pressure). But honestly, Dad's so excited to bless you, he already knows how amazing you'll be and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for you. Me neither!
Liam, your cousin Brigham was born this last week. He's a cutie and he's got lots of hair...so I wouldn't mind if you followed his example in those respects. As I held him, I cried just thinking that shortly I'd be holding you. You two will get along so well, I just know it! You're lucky to have such awesome cousins to teach you and grow with you.
Well I have to finish sewing the curtains for your room.. so much to do and so little time!
Love you kiddo!

Mom
