Which made his Aunt Kayla freak just a little because I was planning a little Sprinkle (mini-shower) for Sam the following Friday and there is a good chance he would come before then! I bumped it up a week and stayed in close contact with Preston and Sam to make sure he hadn't come each day.
By Friday, I called the guests and told them it was a go and got everything ready.
I'm not a very good shower thrower but i think I'm getting better, especially after watching my sister and mom throw mine.
Sam was...not surprised, which was not a surprise.... Preston I love you but you're the worst secret keeper ever!
That's ok though, it was still awesome! We had Pazookies, chatted it up for a few hours and wrote out some hopes and wishes for Baby Brigham. It was very last minute but every baby and mama deserves a shower, even if its just a sprinkle.
The next night Sam and Chelsea out did themselves! They threw me a shower for friends and family in Rexburg and it was wonderful! We ate delicious food, played some funny games and visited with friends and family! The theme was Baseball, which Chad went crazy for! Me too, it was darling and everyone signed this awesome jersey-looking onesie that I can't wait to dress him up in. I am SO mad I didn't have my camera! I can't believe we didn't take any pictures but I'll always rememeber that awesome shower!
HUGE thanks to Sam and Chelsea for all of their hard work to make it happen and the beautiful gifts! I just loved it!
