Hair is thinning
Milk...coming in (weird)
Ribs are unstable
Hands are puffy
Ankles and feet are swollen and red
If there was any question before, it's clear that I'm pregnant and full term, I've got all the signs.
Best of these is my bellybutton... it's popped! Yay! So cool! I bragged to Chad and said "You'll never be able to say you had an outy belly button for a while!" It sounded a lot cooler in my head but I still think Chads a little jealous.
Work got crazy this week. I think I've channeled all my nesting powers into the office because my house is a wreck but despite the craziness of all the move-outs, move-ins, apartment painting, snow removal, empty checks and piles and piles of paper work I've had to do, it's all organized and under control. It's a ton of work but I have been preparing for this so that when I go into labor, the office is ready to function without me. Plus I have awesome assistance who make it happen on the daily.
This week Chad finished up another semester! Yay! And he did such a great job. He has studied harder and longer this semester than ever before and it shows. I think he's kind of nesting too, he wanted everything to be done and ready for the baby and it is! I Love my husband.
Our appointment was really great this week. Chad was unable to come with me because of finals but they sneaked me into the ultrasound room and gave me a peak at my boy.
You guys...he's so cute! I know I'm biased but seriously... he's perfect! They gave me some 3D pictures just for fun and we got to see his precious little face. I started crying when I saw how much he looks like Chad, its amazing! I can think of only a few times when I was happier. I raced up to campus and showed Chad the pictures...he thought they were "weird". I immediately got defensive and said "Well I think our son is adorable so whatever!" His eyes went big and he retracted his statement immediately, then looked at the images harder, in attempt to think they were cute. In his defense, 3D ultrasounds are a little creepy, the babys face always looks a little squished somewhere and shadows can make them look even crazier but something about seeing my own babys face just a few weeks before I meet him in person was so special!
Right now at 37 weeks he is weighing 6lbs 11 ounces so that puts him in the 70th percentile....big baby? But Chad seems to think he'll come early and be a 7 pounder. I think he'll come late and be huge but what do YOU think?
