Just a little Merrell catch up...
Chads finished with the semester! thank heavens. It as an easy semester but we're are just so excited to have less than a year left! We're almost done! Chads only got a week off so naturally we're pretending like the worlds coming to an end on the first day of the next semester and partying our booties off this week.
Each morning begins with Chad and I racing to see who gets to get Liam first. We smile, laugh and snuggle with that little angel for at least an hour every morning and talk about how lucky we are to have him.
It still feels a little unreal. I don't feel worthy to be Liams mom yet...more like a glorified babysitter...who loves the baby way way way too much...and gets paid with smiles and snuggles.
I'm crafting a lot. I just finished throwing an awesome shower with my sister-in-law for my friend Chelsea and now I'm getting ready for my sister shower in AZ. Porters has seen me a few too many times this month but I've really loved how much my sewing machine and I have been getting along. We're friends now.
Chads getting released from his calling in the singles ward on Sunday (I can say that). So this last Sunday I got my husband back for a bit! I sat with my whole little family in church for the very first time! And its been over a year and and half since I sat with Chad so it was so wonderful having him back by my side. It was also our first time in a real church building with a real organ, so Liams first time hearing an organ left nothing to be desired. He was completely startled by it and gave us pout lips the whole first verse (which means Chad and I laughed silently through the whole song). I loved the singles so much but I am super excited for new beginnings a with new faces and families in our Married student ward! Can't wait!
Liams really started to love walks. We walk to Deseret book every other day or so and he smiles the whole way there. The girls that work in the distribution center in the back of the store have gotten used to seeing him a few times a week and love to make him smile. A little ladies man in the making.
We are all so excited for spring. Being able to go on walks and not completely mummify my child each time we go outside has been a nice change. I have a growing bucket list for the summer and and pretty excited for (hopefully) our last summer in Rexburg.
So yeah, we're doin good!
Here are a few pics from the last month or so! (I should say "pics of Liam") he's all anyone wants to see any ways, right?
