S.S Liam

Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE decorating, organizing and beautifying my home! Its honestly one of my favorite past times. So as you might imagine, as soon as I found out we were pregnant, I started planning this little room.

Now I need to state this plainly...I've said "I Love" decorating..this in no way means that I'm good at it. Luckily, I've got a mom and a bunch of sisters who are!
So here it is...Liams nursery!

It took me my whole pregnancy to get it together, but by the time Liam arrived, it was ready for him!

I just love this wall. Danica, my awesome older sister made that darling banner for the baby shower that fit perfectly on my shelf (this is the first of many things that my sisters used for my shower and then generously donated to my nursery) In fact, everything on that shelf was made for or used at my shower. The picture on the far right of the shelf is called "From Fear to Faith" It's one of my favorite pieces of art and I think its message is beautiful. SO glad I can teach Liam about it in our home.
This is our little changing station. We found the desk at a local boutique for a total steal and everything else is from thrift store. I just loved the way it turned out. It's not complete, over the netting on the wall, i want to make a life presever that says "S.S Liam" on it but its still in the works. Liam likes grabbing the netting and playing with it while I change his diapers

THeres a small blank wall next to the closet and this darling "book shelf" fits it perfect. I put book shelf in parenthesis becasue literally two of my 15 books for Liam fit in it so it's now just a decorative feature. And again, it turned into a place to put all the fun decorations from the baby shower on display, plus a darling baby/toddler picture of Chad and a family photo.

This is my favorite spot in the whole house. Midnight feedings, singing lullaby's, reading stories and snuggling..it all happens right here. My mom is the bomb, she found the fabric for my curtains at a garage sale and I was able to make two full length panels and two pillows for his crib too!

Danis fun gold decor from the shower is scattered all around the nursery but I LOVE the circle garland on the window the best. Breea sent me the awesome speed boat and hand painted the darling canvas quote! My side table is perfect for feedings and reading time. Plus, the amazing blue chair is the comfiest chair ever and it fits me and Liam perfectly!

Needless to say, I love everything about my nursery, as I look around I'm reminded of how much my sisters and parents love me and Liam. They helped me build this beautiful space to have so many special moment with Liam in. As much as I love the nursery, what I love the most are the boys I find in it.

We love reading!
