4 Months

This months been crazy, Liams growing way too fast! and LONG! I can't believe how tall he is, its not genetically sound.He's such a learner, always looking around, desperately grabbing at new toys, lights and sounds, he shakes with excitement. This month he really found his voice, literally. His coos turned into yelps and screams of delight. Very girly.
   His hand eye coordination is rockin! He's grabbing toys now, it takes him a sec and he gets a little frustrated after 20 minutes or so but he loves trying.
   Everything goes in his little mouth, everything he can grab. Including his bottle, he has started to try and hold it himself during feedings..he's not there yet but he's well on his way. Which totally breaks my heart! That's my job!
   He's still a lousy eater but he's gaining weight and digesting everything perfectly so I'll survive. Especially since he's such a good sleeper, there no way I could complain about that. Nap times are still a little rough but 8-9 hours a night will do a girl wonders.Those freak nights that he wakes up once or twice already kill me again. I got used to it when he was first born but I'm already readjusting to a full nights rest again.
   Liam makes the best faces, he's already got such a personality. We've loved going on walks, playing on the grass now that its so nice outside. This next month we look forward to his first pool day at grandmas and plenty of cousin time with the Merrells in AZ!

Merrell Milestones
-Blew bubbles
-Saw his first movie in theaters
-Starts of a giggle (we won't claim a full on laugh until its more than a chuckle or two)
-First week away from dad (saddest week of his little life)

-Blowing bubbles
-Chewing on his burp rags
-Balancing acts with dad
-Letting dad chew on his ribs
-Pretty much anything with dad
-Splashing in the bathtub

Hates:
-Getting scared
-Scratching himself
-When I wake him up from naps
-Sleeping (its a complex relationship)
