Liam loved grandma time as always. Here he is, tell grandma all about the play, two strikes, one ball.
There's Madi, warming up! We didn't get to see her on the field very much but when we did, i was snapping pictures. She's a freshman so she isn't playing but she's also going through a lot of changes this year. She is so used to being the biggest, best fish in the pond and now she's been thrown into this ocean of talented fish! I, personally believe, she's still the best out there, once she figures that out, we'll be seeing a lot more of her on that field! I'm so proud of her and its so fun to see her bond with her team and support all these great girls.
Cosmo came by and said hi to everyone. Liam was a little scared but we managed to get a high five out of him. Aaron and Brigham on the other hand had no fears, they're pretty tight with Cosmo, they get to see him all the time!
Lori to the rescue again! She brought baseball cupcakes and chicken salad for everyone. And believe me after all the licorice, Doritos and popcorn, we needed something homemade and nutritious!
This is Liam, post-licorice.
I'd say Liam enjoyed it, look at that goofy grin.
Then the kisses began
When the girls Lined up for autographs, we had to go down on the field a play around a little.
But first, Aunt Madi hugs
Then, throwing dirt (his favorite pass time)
Then dad helped him run the bases. I know he'll be doing that an awful lot in the future!
He loved every second and so did we! We were bummed that Madi didn't play but can't wait for her turn. Also, we are thrilled that we'll be able to go to her games next season in AZ!
Go Cougs!
