Water is We-tt

Liam and I had a lot of errands to run in the QC area so I decided to stop off and let him play at the water park. I've been kind of nervous about reintroducing him to water again this summer. He isn't liking baths as much as he used to and he gets scared pretty easily when he gets wet by accident so i was so nervous that he would hate swimming because i plan on spending the majority of my summer in a pool.
At first he was very very cautious, only touching the water if he had to and immediately running back to the grass area to contemplate what had just happened.

but as soon as he realized that it cooled him off he wanted to tell me all about it! He kept running over to me and saying "dadadahott dadadahott". Liam really likes to describe things so today we learned the word wet (because ever since we moved to AZ, pretty much the only way he describes anything is "ho-tt"). It doesn't sound like "wet" yet, it's more like "wa" but those strong "t" sounds he  loves are sure to follow soon.

Liam would get so excited sometimes that he would leave the splash pad and just start screaming and waving his arms all over...it was amazing.

Then he'd run right back and do it again.

He was getting pretty brave towards the end, running right into the splash zone! I'm so glad he isn't afraid of water! We'll be signing up so swim lessons here soon and i can't wait to see this little guy move.
