Chadders first day!

Chads in school again! And this time, for the LONG haul. Normally he goes for two semesters at a time but from here on out he will be going on "fast track", meaning he will be in school every semester offered at BYU-I until he's done.
He's not excited!
I don't know how you cannot be excited about school! To me, it felt like the further along in my degree I got, the more excited I was at the start of each semester. I was closer to graduating, taking more challenging and interesting classes and I was getting better and better at BEING in school. Chads getting there, he's closer to graduation than he has ever been and taking a lot of challenging classes but he's just dredding it!
So, this morning I woke up and made him a "First day of school Breakfast" and made sure he had clean clothes to wear. I might have been a little over-excited when I made this chalkboard with woth School year stats and made him take a picture of it. MADE him, against his will. But it's hilarious and I love it!
he wasn't happy about it but he just looked so dang cute!

Chads first day was overwhelming. He told me he was pretty nervous about a few of his classes and that all of his classes would require a lot of reading and homework but he's pretty excited about being in a class with Preston and having me in the office. With me working full time, he won't have to stress about it and he can really focus on his studies! Which is GREAT! I'm LOVING the office time, I feel like I'm getting better at everything now that it's my main focus, which will be good because the better I can get at it now, the less I'll struggle when the baby comes.

Chad! I'm so proud of you, school has been a blessing and a burden in your life but you stick with it and you know whats most important. This semester is going to be crazy but I know you can do it, I'm here to help you in any and every way that I can and you know that the Lord will help you most of all. Rely on him and you cannot fail. Love you to pieces!
