Week 23 ~ Montana

Chad last week at home was bitter sweet. I was in the office a lot, trying to get the hang of everything again and get used to the hours again and Chad played... as he should. He has worked so incredibly all summer long and I couldn't be happier that he had a nice relaxing, fun week. He made a bow...yes, a bow, out of a 2x4 and a pvc pipe....don't ask. He played a little golf with his buddies, he played Halo and we ended our last week of summer with a fantastic trip to Montana to visit our bosses and friends, Troy and Lorena.
It was BEAUTIFUL! the trip was just over 3 hours long but it seemed like 20 minutes because we were marveling at the beautiful rivers, mountains and animals along the way!Montana is one of my new favorite places, the scenery is breathtaking, the weather was perfect and the company was even better. It was definitely a "Chad weekend", it was exactly what he has been deserving all summer, a weekend full of delicious  BBQ, amazing cars, thrift shopping and horseback riding. ALL of Chads favorite things (I didn't mind them either :)) Troy and Lorena really showed us a great time and we"re so grateful for such wonderful employers and friends that take care of us! What a blessing!
Baby William, loved it too, he was very well-behaved the whole weekend and I was able to really enjoy this last little getaway with Chad before the craziness of the rest of the year sets in!

Here's a list of the craziness I'm talking about!

Looking Forward to: Sanding down my high chair, we're going to stain it a deep cherry stain and its going to look amazing!

Baby Facts He's forming little nipples (yeah, really!) His face is fully formed now --he just needs a little extra fat to fill it out. He is listening to my voice and my heartbeat -- and even to loud sounds like cars honking and dogs barking, or in Liams case, Chad, shouting at my belly in the morning to wake him up.

He's the size of a large grapefruit!
